The Robert Adger Smythe Award
The Smythe Award is Pi Kappa Alpha’s most prestigious chapter commendation. Presented annually to the Fraternity’s most outstanding chapters, the award recognizes their overall superiority, based upon evaluation in 16 key areas of operation.
Significance
Winning the Smythe Award signifies that a chapter is among the best-of-the-best, reflecting its commitment to excellence in all facets of fraternity life. Chapters that consistently excel in these key areas can earn multiple Awards, showcasing their sustained commitment to the fraternity's values and mission. Delta Lambda chapter has won the award in 12 of the past 13 years, and more than 20 times since 2001.
